Create the Snowman:
1.
Boil 2 quarts of water in a saucepan.  Add 4 tea bags to Make a tea dye solution.  Add the sock and let sit for a few minutes.  Remove sock, rinse out, then dry.
2.
Stuff the bottom 6” of the sock with Poly Pellets.  Tie Cotton twine around the top of the stuffed area of the sock, then continue stuffing another 2-1/2” of the sock for the head. Tie cotton twine tightly around the top of the sock, then trim off the excess.
3.
Cut 3” of the ribbed top from the Red sock. Fold the cut edge of the ribbed top under, then glue it around the top of the head.  Leave the top part of the sock open so the flower pot will fit inside.
4.
Refer to photo. Load Engine Red onto the stencil brush.  Rub most of the paint off on a paper towel.  Scrub the remaining paint onto the snowman’s cheeks.  Paint the eyes, eyebrows and mouth with Licorice paint.  Let dry.
5.
Tie the fabric around the snowman’s neck as a scarf.  Glue the sprig of pine and berries on the snowman’s hat.
6.
Glue the stars and the heart to the front of the snowman. Glue the tree to the left front side of  the snowman.  Glue the nose on the snowman’s face.
7.
Insert the pot inside the sock hat.  Fill the pot with candy canes.  Optional:  Personalize the snowman by  writing name on the rim of  the pot.
