Made of select Maple that has been chosen for its high quality and is defect free. While Maple is generally light in color some mineral or dark color is to be expected. Mineral and Dark color is a natural characteristic of Maple wood and is NOT considered a defect. Also, our laminated wood has multiple solid pieces that are press glued to form one strong solid piece.
